Having been an elite Olympic wrestler at the National training center, under Canadian team coaches Victor Zilberman and Louis Kupsik, Dan learned discipline, and was able to juggle performing into the mix. Musicals, children's theater and karaoke balanced out a hectic national and international medal-winning wrestling career, including the 1996 Olympic trials, and the Maccabiah Games in Israel where Dan won the gold for Canada.
In 1997, it was time to step off the mat and onto the stage; Dan headed for Vancouver. He auditioned for the Vancouver TheatreSports League and became a main stage player. Soon Dan Landed a lead TV role as Buddy on the Charlie Horse Music Pizza show opposite Shari Lewis, Dom DeLuise and Lamb chop. Two years later, Dan competed for Team Vancouver at the Just For Laughs, World Improv Championships in Montreal. His squad not only won, but was invited to return. They won again, and Dan, in total, earned the MVP award a record 9 times. Now a veteran of over 2500 Improv shows, Dan has entertained not only on the stage, but for major companies all over North America. Dan is also honored to have a Canadian Comedy Award Nomination, and the 2003-2004 Georgia Straight's Best of Vancouver Award for his work in improv.
From stage to screen. After winning Just For Laughs, Director Keenan Ivory Wayans cast Dan in 2000’s Scary Movie as Kenny, the cameraman. Dan has since guest starred on Da Vinci's Inquest, Human Cargo, The Chris Isaak Show, and has written and guest-hosted on This Hour Has 22 Minutes. His feature films include Lizzie McGuire, My Boss's Daughter, Scooby Doo 2, Halloween Resurrection and Santa Clause 2. Look for Dan on the tube in the upcoming Dead Like Me, Smallville and Super Volcano. It’s now 2004, and Dan is excited to have played Scrooge’s ghostly business partner Jacob Marley, in A&E’s Karroll’s Christmas directed by Denis Dugan.

- Margret Nyfors is an elite Improviser having competed at tournaments and festivals all over North America including Edmonton, Seattle and Atlanta. A main stage performer with Vancouver TheatreSports for over 10 years she is recognized as one of Canada's funniest Improv actors. Margret is also one of the world's most respected instructors of the form teaching a wide variety of people including actors and future professionals. Presently, Margret has begun exploring her love of writing and real estate.
- Michael Robinson has two World TheatreSports Championships and 20-years of Improv comedy under his belt. However, he is also an internationally recognized director of children's television and science documentaries having worked in New Zealand and for the BBC, in England. In 2003, he won a Leo Award for television directing and as a performer has acted in Dead Like Me, Stargate, and the hit play Funny Faced Ogre. Most recently, he directed Noel Coward's, Present Laughter at the Burr Theater and shooting a BBC special due out next year.
- Patrick Pennefather is gaining a rep as a composer and comedian on the ivories. He crafted a degree in 'free improvisation' on the piano in Toronto and has applied these tools and techniques to composition, lyric, and comedic characters at the piano. In North America he has performed in Toronto, L.A., Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton and Chicago on his own and in collaboration with other entertainers. Catch him on CBC Radio this fall performing as part of a comedic travelogue series entitled Chiapas & Other Distractions.
