Josh’s first play, Walking Away, had a successful run and remount at the inaugural Walking Fish Festival and then won him Solo Collective’s emerging playwright award for 2004. Currently Josh is making his debut in Ontario in Death of A Salesman at Theatre Aquarius.
This past year has seen Josh play Tom Keeney in Funny Girl (Stanley Theatre), the lead in Dancing in the Light (Queen Elizabeth) and various roles in his second season at Bard on the Beach. Josh has also performed at The Playhouse and Belfry Theatres and at The Charlottetown Festival. He has several TV and film credits and recently completed singing for the TV movie Once Upon A Mattress starring Carol Burnett. Josh is a recent graduate of Studio 58 where he played Pal Joey and received the Sydney J. Risk Award for acting.
Next up, Josh returns home to play Tweedle Dum and others in Alice In Wonderland at the Carousel Theatre. Future writing projects include a new Jewish Musical co-written by Noah Drew. Thanks to Bubby, Grandma, Jordana, Jonathan, Mom, Dad and Lara for their love and inspiration. |
