A native of Montreal, Azuure Joffre graduated from The Royal Conservatory of Music, while competing as a classical pianist. Switching her major to singing, she received a BFA from Concordia University, and toured extensively, performing in Japan, The West Indies, Hong Kong, Mexico and also at Montreal's world-renowned Festival de Jazz. In the late 90's, she settled here in Vancouver, and enjoyed successful tours of the musicals "Ain't Misbehavin" and "Wang Dang Doodle" for Vancouver's Arts Club Theater, as well as her own hit show "A Zoot Flap and Shuffle" a 1920's musical montage.

These days, Azuure is performing extensively for major corporations including Acura, Clarica and the Pattison group, while working with internationally recognized musicians including Bill Costin, Bob Mahaney and The Hitmen XB. Azuure was honoured to perform for the Hadassah Convention opening last year, and at Temple Shalom's Friday Night Live. Her debut CD "Crazy 'bout My Baby" features her trademark Velvet Lounge style, showcasing her crisp, clean vocals, sultry style and impeccable diction. Azuure is also the producer of live shows and comedy events and is the co creator of That's Hilarious productions.
